With a career in operations management that spans three decades, Richard Fernandez is an expert in the fields of manufacturing, materials planning, operations, and logistics. He has significantly streamlined operations and reduced manufacturing costs as an individual contributor, senior manager, and executive at companies including Open Text, Captaris, Castelle, Conxion, and CIDCO.Richard has taken many products from the drawing board to mass production. He has also been directly responsible for moving several companies� manufacturing operations to new locations in the United States and Asia. In his years managing in-house, out-of-state, and offshore projects, he has successfully negotiated with third-party suppliers to lower costs and reduce time to market.
